This is a custom made PROFESSIONAL FV toolset!
The filter screen in the FV is positioned inside the swivel cap, and this fine stainless steel mesh screen ensures that nothing except vapor comes out of the bowl when you draw. This pre-formed, dish shaped filter screen is secured by a rubbber o’ring, in a circular channel underneath the swivel cap. While it is possible to replace this screen by hand, it is much easier to do the same procedure with this set of custom made FV tools.

Although I’ve never attempted installing one of these screen by hand I’ve heard and imagined it’s somewhat difficult. Having this tool makes it so easy and quick to do that now I really have very little concern about my top screen plugging up or wearing out (I like to burn the resin off with a lighter as I find it quicker and less messy than an ISO wash). Great product.
